Taking a step back into the past today to show you an engagement shoot that I did for a wonderful friend of mine a couple of years ago. It was a first for me, but I was so excited to get to try it out. She had a few shots in particular that she wanted and then I had a few more “let’s give it a try” shots I wanted to get of them, and then of course we had to get some great shots with their dog too! The shoot was to take place in their hometown of Guthrie, and it worked out perfectly because that weekend was a wine tasting festival so the town was decked out for it and some of the streets were closed, so since we got there nice and early that morning it made things run smoothly. There is just something about the small town charm that draws you in and helps you to create something special that you never even imagined. It also helps to have a couple that keeps you on your toes and is constantly laughing at either me or each other, that just makes it outright fun! One of my favorite parts of the shoot was getting treated to a pancake breakfast before we headed to our second location (to get some shots with their dog). Nothing goes better with a photo shoot than pancakes! Now let’s get back to the pictures and one adorable couple!
